Our new Distribution Centre in Broadmeadows is especially important to us, as it brings together technology and people, ensuring a formidable team is in place to serve our largest market across Tasmania, Victoria and South Australia. Our team will be working in a modern, custom designed distribution centre where a strong sustainability ethos is embedded in our building and our practices.

• The role

This newly created SME HSE role is a diverse role that will require a unique skillset, capable of creating and implementing our

• new Health Safety & Environment Management System
• within our new distribution centre in Broadmeadows during the build and opening of the site, then continuing beyond that to support the National Distribution Centre Safety Program.
• Duties include
• Create and maintain safe work standards and culture at all times
• Establish HSE Management System
• Provide coaching and support
• Set up and roll out the new HSE Management System for the site
• Liaise closely with project team around safety relating to construction, build & opening of new DC
• Risk management framework implementation
• Coach & support team to effectively respond to incidents and injuries (support thorough investigations)
• Return to work programs
• HSE training facilitation
• Implement & maintain contractor & visitor management system
• Reporting & administration
• Other health & safety related responsibilities
• About you
• WHS experience in a distribution centre
• Involvement in opening green fields sites
• Exceptional communication skills
• Flexible approach to tasks and willingness to be hands on in all areas of safety
• Previous HSE Management System experience
• Strong people skills, able to develop strong business relationships, influence and collaborate
• High achiever, self-starter, natural leader
