Service Advisor – Launceston, Tas

CJD's Launceston Branch is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team! If you enjoy administrative tasks and love working in a fast-paced environment, with a close team and BIG trucks (Kenworth, DAF, Volvo), this job might be perfect for you. Read on to find out more.

Our Service Advisors provide support to the service department by processing manufacturer's warranty claims, arranging bookings, and managing service contracts. It's a fast-paced and dynamic role.

If you're currently looking to move from working on the workshop floor (as a mechanic) or seeking a less physically demanding role, or if you have experience in the automotive industry, this role may be a great fit for you.

You will report to the State Service Manager and have many opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge within a professional service environment. The role includes :

Processing workshop labor and costs into a CRM system Arranging and coordinating customer bookings and service invoices Maintaining contracts and the daily work schedule Assisting with parts ordering for service jobs Ensuring all documents and records are completed and processed promptly Adhering to all HSE procedures Willingness to work overtime if required Working well within a team, staying positive during busy times, and having a can-do attitude (we can teach you the rest) What we require to ensure your success : Previous experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks A team player willing to contribute and get the job done A valid driver's license Professional personal presentation What's in it for you : Training, career development, growth, and advancement opportunities Various corporate and health staff discounts Free access to our wellbeing platform – EAP, financial, and legal support About the Company Family-owned and operated, CJD Equipment values its people as its greatest strength.
