    • About the role
    • This role is vital in supporting, advising and coordinating drivers and driving operations Australia-wide.

      Based in Pinkenba, QLD you will be the first point of contact for Greyhound drivers.

      Our operations team provide 24-hour support, 7 days a week to the whole network on a rotating shift basis. Our shifts; 3.00am to 3.00pm and 3.00pm to 3.00am, 4 days on and 4 days off. The day and night shifts are equally rotated.

      You will be required to have a HR Licence with a Drivers Authority as Coach Driving shifts at times are required.

    • Your key responsibilities will include
    • Breakdown assistance - You will be the first point of call for breakdowns, you will take ownership of the situation and liaise with drivers, mechanics, Operations, to ensure our services get back up and running
    • You will be the first point of call for emergencies, coordinating support services for injuries and other situations that may arise.
    • You will need to think on your feet and make decisions on routes, rosters and passenger changes.
    • Changing rosters and replacing drivers to ensure services continue will become second nature to you.
    • You will manage compliance with legislative requirements, including Chain of Responsibility and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations, fatigue management
    • Checking and filing driver logbooks and driver pre departure paperwork.
    • You will need basic computer skills to log and report incidents in accordance with our company policy.
    • To be successful in this role;
    • An Operations Coordinator needs to be cool, calm and handle pressure well, this role is fast paced.
    • You will need to be able build rapport with our drivers and key stakeholders
    • Having knowledge and experience of the coach, transport and / or logistics industry will be highly regarded.
    • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills is essential, you will need to be able to make decision.
    • The ability to manage challenging situations and handle pressure.
    • Sound communication skills and a strong customer focus.
    • Ability and willingness to work shifts on a rotating roster that includes day shifts, night shifts and weekend work.
    • You will also possess a high degree of work ethic, personal presentation and teamwork.
