Where the team fits in
The Finance Grad sit within the Finance and Business Services Group, headed up by the Chief Financial Officer. The Finance and Business Services team, or FaBS as we like to call them, is the engine room of the REA Group. The team is comprised of Finance, Reporting, Risk, Procurement, Pricing, Payments, Investor Relations, Corportate Affairs, Corporate Development & Integration, and Facilities Management.
What the role is all about :
We’re looking for talented grads wanting to work with some seriously switched-on folk who make the impossible possible. This means that you can expect every day to be fast, full of energy and never short of a challenge. The finance team provide strategic commercial input and guidance on decisions across all levels of the business, working hard to support our people, drive efficiencies, and maximise satisfaction for our customers, consumers and investors.
Our 18-month rotational Graduate Program will have you immersed into the finance team where you will be exposed to all aspects of Finance with a focus on Group Reporting, Risk and Assurance and Commercial Finance. We will help you collaborate with specialists across the business building your communication skills, ability to flex and influence in ways that’ll stretch and grow you.
The aim of our graduate program is to mentor, coach and develop you providing you with both the technical and professional skills to build a successful career in finance.
You will :
Learn best practice Internal Audit Methodology.
Perform Operational, Financial and IT audits across REA's business units.
Be part of executing and delivering the Sarbanes Oxley program.
What we’re looking for :

You have innate curiosity and a love of learning
You are driven to do something which makes a difference
You love to understand business process and systems and how It works together
Looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens
Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment
Ideally you have recently completed or will complete in 2024 a bachelor’s degree in commerce and / or accounting or a combined accounting & IT degree
You are keen to pursue your CPA or CA qualification (with support from us of course!)
You will have full Australian working rights (we do accept international students)
Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
And finally, you love all things Finance!
