This role oversees and coordinates daily production activities within the laundry to improve efficiency and quality. This includes guiding and training team members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and managing workflow to meet performance targets.

Responsibilities of the role are : Support Production Improvements - Assist in implementing initiatives to enhance workflow and labour efficiency. Task Delegation & KPI Monitoring - Organise daily tasks and support KPI achievement in collaboration with the Production Supervisor. Team Leadership & Training - Guide, train, and support team members to ensure consistent performance. Roster Management - Assist in preparing and publishing weekly staff rosters. Ensure Compliance & Safety - Monitor and enforce compliance with ISO standards and safety procedures. Coordinate & Communicate - Liaise with internal teams to resolve issues, minimise rewash, and maintain clear communication. Skills and Experience Be able to assess, train and guide employees to achieve competency using the SPL core processes and staff assessment procedures. Capable of motivating employees to meet company goals and objectives by treating them with respect and encouraging them to offer ideas about decisions that affect them. Able to work under pressure to meet high volume processing. Be able to apply OH&S management methods, techniques, and processes, to report any unsafe practices or hazards. Be reliable and able to work across a Monday to Saturday rotating roster (day / afternoon). Be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Have excellent organisational and time and priority management skills to achieve set objectives within timeframes (for self and others). An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and build relationships, convey information, and resolve problems.
