About The Project

Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCISolutions) is a Joint Venture between Ventia and Downer.

GCISolutions has a 10-year contract to deliver essential water and wastewater services to the City of Gold Coast. We deliver a diverse range of work including improvement projects, refurbishment and renewal programmes and planned and reactive maintenance.

About The Role

We are seeking a Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Lead to manage our dynamic team, based at Arundel, Gold Coast.

In this role, you will drive strategic communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives across all GCISolutions projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the delivery teams and client to ensure all compliance and notifications requirements are delivered on time and consistently to support the projects.

Other Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

Provide high-level strategic direction and solutions to complex and sensitive stakeholder management challenges and project risksMonitor, report, and advise on community and stakeholder performance metrics and associated continuous improvement opportunities.Anticipate and navigate political, media, and communication challenges by understanding government / city priorities and negotiating mitigation strategiesResponsible for the monthly rollout of the GCI Solutions newsletter and annual report in final draftUpdating the successes of the program on social media forums like LinkedIn etc.

Our Ideal Candidate

3+ years similar experience within Government entities are highly regardedTertiary qualifications (or relevant equivalent experience) within Marketing or CommunicationsThis position is ideal for individuals who exude confidence, enthusiasm and maintain a positive outlook.High level of initiative, proactive approachExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong people / stakeholder managementCertificate in International Association of Public Participation (IAP2), preferred but not essential
