Security Engineer

VGW is an interactive entertainment company, harnessing technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play online social games.We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technology team inPerthand are currently looking for aSecurity Engineerto join the team.Key responsibilities will include : Design and implement security features across systems and applications, ensuring security is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.Conduct security assessments, including threat modelling, secure code reviews, and vulnerability analysis to identify and mitigate potential application security risks.Support incident response efforts, helping detect, analyse, and respond to product security incidents in collaboration with stakeholders.Participate in security architecture and design reviews, providing expert input to engineering teams on best practices and secure implementation.Report on security metrics, delivering insights into vulnerabilities, threats, and risk trends to drive continuous improvement in product security.What you will bring to the role : Proven knowledge of web application security concepts and cloud security best practices, with a strong emphasis on AWS.
