Join to apply for the Senior Analyst | Traded Market Risk role at Macquarie Group Join our Global Market Risk team based in Sydney who play a key role measuring and limiting Macquarie's exposure to adverse movements in market factors by setting, monitoring, reporting and enforcing risk limits across all trading areas.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Analyst, you will be immersed in global financial markets, keeping abreast of market news and trends to understand and identify potential risks. You will oversee the monitoring and reporting of risk metrics daily to senior management, set and manage appropriate trading limits, analyse trades and approve new products for a range of desks covering Australian equities, commodities, FX and interest rates.

What You Offer

3+ years' experience in financial markets, ideally in risk management Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels Effective communication, problem solving and analytical skills Demonstrable interest in financial markets.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
