About the Role_
HYTORC South Pacific is looking for a dedicated, punctual and consistent part time store person to assist with our rapidly expanding business and significant increase in goods inward and outward volume. This is a warehouse based position with occasional paid overtime required._
Duties and Responsibilities_
Weekly inward shipments receipting, unpacking, checking and storage._
Receiving of tools and equipment for repair, including writing up service sheets and tagging._
Maintaining storage systems for stock, including high density drawer systems and pallet racking._
Making sure all stock is put away in the right places and correctly labelled._
Assisting with stock control and monitoring stock re-order levels._
Processing of inbound and outbound stock shipments, including serializing of new stock._
Completing any additional tasks associated with weekly shipments and assisting in the warehouse where required_
Picking parts and new tools to complete new orders._
Packing tools and equipment ready for shipment._
Booking shipments with various local and national carriers - including TNT, TOLL etc_
Warehouse & workshop maintenance - general housekeeping and tidying of the warehouse and surrounding area including a weekly clean of workbenches_
Quality Control through undertaking general checks of hire fleet, customer repairs and incoming product shipment_
General administration where required_
Actively participating in workbench meetings whilst generating positive ideas to improve working practice_
Skill and Experience_
You will need to have_
At least 3 years experience in high volume stores and dispatch position._
Experience in stock management and storage systems maintenance_
Dangerous Goods certification and experience would be advantageous_
Forklift licence_
Attention to detail and very clean concise work practices._
Experience with a variety of online freight booking systems._
Basic computer literacy and an ability to follow work flow guidelines._
An ability to prioritize jobs and the flexibility to multitask._
