The Investment Operations (IO) Team is part of CFS' Finance & Fund Services (F&FS) and is responsible for the management of all investment related data for all FirstChoice (FC) Funds.
The IO team is committed to delivering solutions that aim to deliver member outcomes aimed at achieving the best financial interest of CFS superannuation members. The Data and Pricing Analyst role will play a pivotal role in supporting the management of investment data to achieve those goals.
The Data and Pricing Analyst reports to Senior Manager, Data and Valuations Integrity.
Your ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and validate asset prices of all securities that are used for daily unit pricing.Complete valuation setup for new 'OTC' securities including the review of key valuation inputs such as the 'terms and conditions' of an OTC investment.Assist with monitoring and administration activities associated with CFS Valuation Committees.Perform setup of new securities and new funds within SimCorp Dimension and GAIN.Manage and resolve reconciliation breaks raised by the CFS Asset Control team.Identify and mitigate operational risk associated with both static data and asset valuations and escalate appropriately.Assist the Manager of the Data and Pricing Team in driving continuous improvements and innovation by analysing trends and providing suggestions to enhance current processes.Your Capability and ExperienceMandatoryBachelors degree (or equivalent) in commerce, finance or a related field.Strong understanding of financial market and investment products across domestic and global markets.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving abilities.High performing with excellent workload management, ability to prioritise, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving risks.DesirableBackground in investment operations, fund accounting, or investment administration.Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension, GAIN and Bloomberg systems.What to ExpectAt CFS, you'll be working among the very best in the wealth management industry.
