• Role Overview

As a Support Worker at Empower Path, you will play a crucial role in providing direct support to individuals with disabilities, fostering independence, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. Your responsibilities will include :

• Passion for supporting individuals with Disability.
• Follow through with commitments and build great relationships.
• Willingness to travel to participant' homes within the specified service locations
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to think and act calmly and deal with sensitively in times of destress for the participant.
• Be adaptive and exercise initiative whilst following Empower Path policies and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
• Flexibility in working hours and approach.
• Go above and beyond (even when no one is looking!)

• Key Requirements
• 1 year of experience as a support worker is preferred but not necessary.
• Must have a Valid Australian Driver's License and a Vehicle.
• Mandatory NDIS Orientation and Induction modules must be completed before commencing employment.
• Working with Children Check and NDIS Screening Check must be cited before commencing employment.
• Be strong, resilient, and adaptable in challenging scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills.
