Job descriptionJob Type Full-time and Part-time positions available About Us UMI Izakaya Eastwood is a vibrant Japanese restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and exceptional service. We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our team and contribute to our success. Responsibilities Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and in proper working condition Help with the receiving and storing of kitchen supplies and ingredients Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager Qualifications Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar role is preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays A positive attitude and willingness to learn What We Offer A supportive and friendly team environment Opportunities for growth and development Flexible working hours Job Types Full-time, Part-time
