Community Support Worker

We are seeking a pro-active, self-starter person who brings with them high core values and minimum 2 years' experience in the field of support work care. Your goal is to provide optimal comfort to our valued clients. Essentially, you will be assisting them in daily activities, areas of care determined by the needs of our clients and approved community social outings.

• Essential Criteria
• Cert III in Health Services Assistance, disabilities or similar
• Driver's License
• Reliable motor vehicle
• Police Check
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
• CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
• Proven rights to work in Australia
• Key Responsibilities
• Supporting clients with complex and / or challenging personal needs.
• Personal care : Showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance.
• Domestic assistance : light housework and meal preparation
• Supporting clients who us personal equipment / aids - may include walking or standing frames, hoists and wheelchairs
• Monitoring the well-being of clients
• Reporting progress of clients
• Social activities : transporting clients to their appointments, shopping and / or planned community social activity.

• National Police Certificate (preferred)
