Reporting to the Managing Director, the role is responsible for :
- Safety
- Ensure safe operation of all site & region activities & champion safety improvement programs across all aspects of the business
- Strategy
- Monitor local market conditions, opportunities & context & develop local market-beating strategies to win Equipment & Service business
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Identify & implement local improvement plans to drive competitive advantage & efficient business operations
- Performance & Reporting
- Develop, manage & regularly monitor performance targets for local team
- Strive to beat monthly, quarterly & annual targets set during the budgeting cycle
- People & Leadership
- Empower ownership & accountability of the local team & identify & develop key talent progression plans to create the next generation of leaders
- Customer Focus
- Develop deep customer insights & knowledge & tailor the business approach based on customer dynamics
- Work to diffuse & resolve local customer issues to retain critical customers
- Identify & collaborate with marketing to conduct lead generation activities (events, case studies, etc.)
- Facilities / Site Operations / Engagement
- Drive high employee engagement and execute Voice of Employee actions
- Collaboration
- Partner with other BSP leaders (Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, etc.) to evolve & enhance the Pacific business & undertake assignments to improve common business aspects
- Collaborate with other ASSA ABLOY businesses (Opening Solutions, Industrial, etc.) to identify joint activities that result in new orders, improved brand presence, improved customer experience
- Collaborate with global Pedestrian leaders (Products, Services, Marketing, etc.) to evolve & enhance the Pacific business
- Skills & experience
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a relevant field an advantage
- Diversified & progressive work experience in Sales, Service and Projects is essential
- Strong leadership & proven ability to recruit, direct, train, & manage teams & drive team engagement
- Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts & continuous improvement efforts
