Educator (Early Childhood) Diploma

Koala Child Care Centre is a community-based early childhood centre dedicated to educating and caring for children from 8 weeks to 5 years. We are proud to be rated as Exceeding in all 7 Quality Areas. Located on the grounds of Sutherland Hospital, Koala Child Care Centre boasts a wonderful team of educators. We now have a rare opportunity for an experienced Diploma Trained Educator to join our Birth-2 year old room.

If you have a passion for learning and teaching children from birth to 5 years, possess good communication skills and are patient, empathetic, creative, adaptable, observant and organised; this job is for you.

We are seeking someone with a sound knowledge of child development and the ability to implement a play-based learning environment to strengthen our team of educators and enhance our centre.

• Qualifications and Experience
• Essential
• Must hold a Diploma in Children's Services
• Have a Working With Children Check number or be willing to obtain one
• Current child protection qualifications
• First aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training
• Able to provide two (2) references
