Jacobs are seeking a Principal Transport Planner to join our Integrated Transport & Mobility team in Perth.
Reporting to the Section Leader – Integrated Transport & Mobility, the Principal Transport Planner is responsible for providing consultancy services in the Transport Planning market in both Western Australia and across the ANZ region. A key focus will be leading the growth of the team in the Perth office.
The role will be responsible for project delivery and project management, and for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will support management of the Integrated Transport & Mobility team, in terms of team development and growth, building technical capability and growing the transport planning portfolio.
You will be a technical and project lead for transport planning and assessment projects, as well as providing technical guidance for transport planning advice on large strategic consulting and design projects; delivering technically excellent transport outcomes and consultancy services. You will help drive business development and be responsible for work winning, identify the next opportunities and support the winning of opportunities. Through regular industry participation, you will develop and maintain strong key client relationships, identify emerging opportunities with clients and act as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients and represent the team at key thought leadership events.
You will facilitate the technical development of more junior resources to meet market requirements and engage with high performers in a team environment to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching. You will support your performance unity to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationships in order to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people.
