GSHS is seeking a suitably qualified & / or experienced Social Worker to join our team in a

• casual
• capactiy.- With a diverse and varied caseload, working with inpatients, outpatients and community counselling services, the position provides the opportunity to work with people to provide a truly holistic service, supporting people through the full care cycle.- The position covers a catchment large enough to provide good support networks and clinical variety but small enough to still provide personalised care.
• About You

Reporting to the Community Services Manager, via Social Work Team Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for :

• Providing quality support to clients by completing assessments, service delivery (including counselling) and discharge planning tasks consistent with best practice standard.
• Participating in a coordinated team approach to patient care.
• Participating in the education of patients, staff, community and students.
• Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check, Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.-
