Support Worker - Aged Care and Disability

WE ARE HIRING AGED CARE & DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS!!

About the Roles :

We are currently seeking dedicated Aged Care and Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care. Your responsibilities may include :

• Supporting clients with community access and participation in recreational activities
• Providing personal care including showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance
• Assisting with manual handling and using mobility equipment such as wheelchairs or hoists
• Providing transportation and encouraging social engagement
• Performing light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

Eligibility Criteria :

To be successful in this role, you must have :

• A minimum of 6 months paid experience supporting individuals with disabilities
• A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
• A valid Working with Children Check , or willingness to obtain one
• A current or willingness to obtain :

First Aid

• Police Check
• The following certifications are highly regarded :

PEG Feeding Certificate

• Manual Handling Certificate
• Basic Life Support Certificate
• Medication Administration Training
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full Australian working rights
