Accounts Receivable Officer

• The role

This is an exciting new position for a motivated individual to join our fast-paced, dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end accounts receivables and supporting the delivery of finance and accounting practices and procedures as directed by the Financial Controller.

• Your duties will include the following
• Accounts Receivables and Debtor management
• Debtor Monitoring
• Organising payment plans and tracking
• Credit controls
• Daily bank receipt allocation and reconciliations
• Responding to accounts receivable inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Invoice Lodgments
• Ad hoc finance tasks
• Personal Competencies
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of accounts receivable, credit control, and customer service principles.
• Able to effectively communicate (both written & verbal) in various environments with a wide range of people.
• Excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of PC-based accounting systems and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with minimum supervision, demonstrating initiative for priority setting, goal achievement and time management.
• Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem-solve and meet deadlines.
• Results-orientated individual who actively participates in continuous quality improvement and applies quality improvement principles to all duties performed.
