About the job Territory ManagerWe are assisting our client in finding an experienced Territory Sales Manager join a business that provides road safety signs, supplies and equipment.
This is a new role that has come about thought the growth of the business. It will be focussed on growing the business throughout Victoria. This role would be ideal for someone with strong knowledge of roads and traffic management regulations and the logistics involved for the execution of services.
- In this role you will
- Generate new business throughout Victoria including regional areas
- Maintain a pipeline of further business activity from existing customers
- Formulate, develop and coordinate the delivery of products and services for repeat customers and potential customers
- Complete structured client meetings both in person and virtually
- Achieve territory / account sales volume targets
- Be actively involved with various industry bodies by attending relevant events and conferences
- Regularly conduct market analysis and gather market intelligence within the industry
- Provide current and future sales metrics, statistics, and trends to management
- Skills required
- Demonstrated experience in building territory sales with new and existing customers ideally in the civil and roads infrastructure
- Demonstrated sales and sales process management skills
- Commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, articulate value and deliver a deal.
- Strong presentation, negotiating and influencing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Perform effectively in an autonomous role and remote team environment
