Diploma Early Childhood / Room Leader

We're seeking a calm, passionate Diploma educator, who has high expectation for quality Education and Care, with strong leadership and experience with 2 - 5 year olds.

• Working with Children Check
• CHCPRT001 Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
• Understanding of child stafe standards
• Up to date First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma, and CPR or willing to do

• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Engage in the implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs. With sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and understanding of child interest-based learning with Floorbooks and learning stories.
• Contribute, through the Director and approved provider, to the development of the service policies and Quality Improvement Plan. With sound understanding on the NQF.
• Be a Responsible Person and Personal in Day-to-Day Charge as rostered.
• Supervise and mentor employees within the service, including trainees and students.
• Be able to work flexible hours.
• Have strong teaching skills to lead groups of children and a team of educators.
