Karralika Programs is a non-government organisation providing residential and community based treatment for individuals and their families who are impacted by alcohol and other drugs (AOD).

Operating throughout the ACT and NSW for over 45 years we provide a range of high quality evidence based programs to support our clients in learning about themselves behaviourally cognitively and emotionally to achieve and sustain positive outcomes in life.

The Opportunity

Karralika Programs is looking for a Justice Services Program Manager to lead our dedicated team in the ACT that support people through evidence-based group and individual interventions to address and reduce harms related to substance use and associated criminogenic behaviours. The Manager has the responsibility for the culture and performance of the team and the quality of services and support provided to our clients.

This role is a unique opportunity to drive service excellence enhance clinical governance and provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams and will involve working within the Alexander Maconochie Centre (Canberras prison) and in the community.

More specifically your responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Leading and managing multidisciplinary team including case managers and counsellors who work with clients and partner agencies
• Overseeing program operations ensuring adherence to policies procedures and clinical governance frameworks
• Driving continuous quality improvement embedding evidence-based practices and leading change management initiatives
• Developing and managing partnerships collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen service delivery
• Representing Karralika Programs in external forums contributing to strategic planning and policy development
• Monitoring analysing and reporting on program performance ensuring service standards are met and outcomes are achieved

About You

To qualify you will need a Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology or a related field along with solid experience in management or senior clinical roles within the Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or related sector.
