The Research Associate is primarily responsible for the production and quality control (QC) of all kit components used in the SureFire and ELISA cell-based immunoassay kits at TGR BioSciences (an Abcam company) in accordance with GLP.

This position reports to the Quality Manager and is part of the In-House-Manufacturing (IHM) Team at TGR BioSciences located in Adelaide, South Australia and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to : Prepare and QC kit components used in the SureFire and ELISA immunoassay kits; including but not limited to reagent preparations, antibody conjugations and immunoassay analytical techniques.Culture a broad range of mammalian cell lines to prepare control lysates for use in kits.Assist with updating of procedures (Microsoft Excel and Word-based) and training of new staff.The essential requirements of the job include : A Bachelor of Science or Biotechnology with Honours.A person who is willing to work in a team environment and can work to time pressures to ensure shipping deadlines and on-time delivery demands are met.A person who has a high level of attention to detail and sound analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure kit quality is maintained and in line with customer expectations.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements : Job may require some manual handling.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in : A biological laboratory with experience in cell culture, protein chemistry and immunoassay analytical techniques.Antibody conjugation techniques.Microsoft ExcelJoin our winning team today.
