The Role :
Join us on a rewarding journey as a Branch Manager, specialising in Trades & Industrial recruitment, in Canberra. In this pivotal role, you'll lead and mentor a team of three consultants, driving performance, capability, and team growth. You'll play a hands-on role in developing local client partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing GP.
Your leadership will be instrumental in setting and executing strategic goals, creating a collaborative environment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations including compliance across payroll, WHS, and internal processes. This role is perfect for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, blue-collar recruitment environment and is passionate about building strong teams and strong portfolios.
Responsibilities : Manage and grow a key client portfolio across the Canberra region
Coach, mentor, and develop a team of three consultants
Support consultants with business development and lead generation
Drive compliance with internal policies and external legislation
Champion high standards in service, safety, and performance
Identify training needs and support team development plans
About You2-5 years' experience in agency recruitment leadership (Trades, Industrial or similar sectors)
Proven success in leading teams and driving performance outcomes
Strong business development skills and industry relationships in the Canberra market
Confident with reporting, forecasting, and risk / compliance management
Adaptable, hands-on, and commercially minded
