You'll deliver both in-home and community access supports tailored to participants' needs. Whether you're supporting our direct participants or stepping into agency shifts for providers, you're a frontline ambassador of our mission.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, respectful, and person-centered support to NDIS participants in their homes and communities.
- Follow daily shift plans and care routines outlined by SIL / SDA providers when working agency shifts, while upholding _Get Dignity First Care's_ gold standard in professionalism.
- Assist with activities of daily living, social and recreational participation, transport, and other support needs tailored to individual goals.
- Actively engage in building meaningful connections with participants, promoting independence, dignity, and confidence.
- Observe and report on participant wellbeing, completing shift notes accurately and timely.
- Represent the values of our organization with consistency, whether working under our own processes or as agency support.
- We're looking for people who
- Have experience in disability support or are new to the field but driven by empathy, integrity, and the desire to do things _right_.
- Are adaptable, reliable, and proactive especially when stepping into diverse care environments.
- Hold (or are willing to obtain) all relevant checks and credentials : NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, Driver's License, and reliable transport. With full Compressive insurance.
