As an Electrical Supervisor at Gruyere, you’ll play a vital leadership role in overseeing all electrical maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and compliance of site infrastructure and equipment. You’ll lead a skilled electrical team, implement preventative maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement to support safe and efficient operations across the site.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support electrical maintenance personnel by identifying improvement opportunities and implementing coaching and development strategies.
  • Oversee scheduled electrical maintenance activities and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimise unplanned breakdowns.
  • Monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal availability and reduce operational downtime.
  • Manage parts and equipment requirements to support efficient maintenance planning and execution.
  • Commitment, respect and compliance to the MACA health, safety and environmental practices.
  • Actively participates and contributes to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

To be successful in this role, you will possess :

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising electrical maintenance teams within an open pit mining environment.
  • Proven experience in ensuring our plant and equipment is maintained to a high safety, productive and reliable standard in a timely manner.
  • Trade qualification.
  • WA Electrical Licence, CPR / LVR and First Aid.
  • Sound knowledge of safe mining and earthmoving practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, allowing you to build relationships across the team and departments.
