Base pay range

87,790.00 / yr - $96,217.00 / yr

Working within Recording and Transcription Services (RTS), you will be an important part of a team focused on excellent frontline service delivery in an atmosphere of continuous improvement. Our team manages the end-to-end process for production and distribution of transcripts and audio to Court users for all Queensland Courts and tribunals.

As an Assistant Team Leader, you will assist and support in supervising the RTS Client Services Teams. Your role includes providing client and stakeholder assistance, acting as the first point of contact for Client Services staff, and performing administrative duties related to the ordering and distribution of Court transcripts to internal and external clients.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the Client Services Team to achieve business objectives through developing, implementing, and improving operational processes.
  • Act as the first escalation point for the team, providing advice and assistance to respond to client and stakeholder requests promptly and courteously via telephone and email.
  • Supervise and support staff involved in ordering and distributing court audio and transcripts, ensuring high customer service standards for internal and external stakeholders, including judiciary, legal practitioners, and transcript providers.
  • Help manage queues related to customer-facing operations online and via phone.
  • Provide training and support, including coaching and development, on systems and legislation.
  • Accurately manage records and data entry for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to deliver quality services.
  • Undertake other tasks as directed.
