ROLE SUMMARY : (12 month contract) At IRONMAN, the Marketing team is the engine that powers demand, fuels customer excitement, and drives growth across their world-renowned portfolio of endurance events, brands, and products. IRONMAN are not just about promoting races; they are about building unforgettable experiences and lifelong communities through events.
As Head of Marketing (APAC), you will lead a passionate, high-performing team focused on bringing these events to life in the Oceania region. You'll craft bold, strategic marketing plans that hit athlete participation targets, strengthen the iconic IRONMAN brand, and keep athletes coming back for more. You will report on regional marketing performance and participant registration trends, delivering insightful weekly updates to the central marketing team.
This role requires a dynamic and experienced marketing leader with proven expertise in cross-channel marketing, project management and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strategic insight, commercial nous and leadership excellence to meet business objectives and elevate the IRONMAN brand in the Oceania region.
ABOUT YOU : Experienced senior marketer with a strong history of delivering successful, results-driven campaigns that fuel customer growth and loyalty. Outstanding leader with a proven ability to inspire teams and foster a high-performance culture that drives results and accountability. An adaptable, strategic thinker who leverages data and real-world insights to drive informed, impactful decision-making. Deep understanding of customer and market trends, with a passion for designing customer-centric experiences that drive satisfaction and achieve business objectives. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop relationships internally and externally. Energetic, personable and able to work co-operatively with other team members. Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and within required deadlines. An interest in sports and / or mass participation events would be an advantage but is not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic marketing leader to develop strategic marketing plans that hit entry participation targets & elevate the IRONMAN brand in the Oceania region!
