Your opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and locally well-connected consultant to lead and develop Mott MacDonald's transport services for government and private sector clients across Transport.

This role will see you :

  • Establish your plan for the business and drive growth in Transport services in WA, aligned to our national strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for new work with existing and new clients. Bring and establish long term client relationships and secure Transport work from a range of clients.
  • Work in partnership with our account leads to identify a pipeline of Transport work from a range of clients. Lead your team in the winning of work and oversee project performance.
  • Create, develop and lead high performing teams.
  • Use advanced communication skills and experience in external and internal stakeholder management to influence the outcome of key client decisions.
  • Plan resources based on insights of project and prospect pipelines and recruit strategic hires and facilitate their positioning within the business.
  • Advise clients to help them deliver and optimise outstanding projects

  • What can you bring to the team?
  • You will be an infrastructure professional with at least 15 years' experience working as a consultant Project Director or Technical Advisor across the lifecycle of project development including experience in either Technical Advisory, Design Services, Infrastructure Planning or Project Management services. You will be experienced in communicating with executive level clients and management of multi-discipline teams, including deep experience within organisations such as PTA, MRWA and DoT.

    With tertiary qualifications relevant to Project Management, Engineering, or Planning you will have proven skills in your field of expertise and a wider view of the infrastructure sector.

    You will be commercially agile, able to identify and mitigate risks and establish and meet critical deadlines whether working as an independent advisor or in leading a team. Prior experience with an engineering, management firm, or consultancy is preferred with experience in either project development phases (including business cases), detail design, design & construct, collaborative delivery models and / or design certification and review type engagements.
