We’re seeking a dedicated and dynamic Behaviour Support Practitioner to elevate therapeutic practices across our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) programs. This is more than a job—it's a chance to leave a lasting impact on young lives and the educators who support them.

About The Role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will :

Conduct assessments and develop tailored Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
Coach and mentor OSHC teams to embed trauma-informed and therapeutic strategies
Act as a vital resource, providing direct coaching, training, and ongoing support to OSHC teams
Champion trauma-informed and therapeutic practices in our services
Work closely with families, educators, and external professionals to support children with complex needs
Lead and deliver training and contribute to continuous quality improvement

This role offers a mix of strategic influence and hands-on engagement across before / after school care and vacation care programs.

What You Will Bring

You’re someone who thrives on helping others understand behaviour, build their confidence, and create safe, supportive environments for children.

Tertiary qualifications in human services, social work, behavioural science, or related field

You’ll have proven experience supporting children with complex behaviours and trauma backgrounds

Knowledge of therapeutic approaches and trauma-informed practice

Your excellent communication, coaching and problem-solving skills will help you deliver

Current Blue Card, National Police Check (or willing to obtain)

Current First Aid & CPR Certification

Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel across service locations
