Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for logistics and transport operations? We’re seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and optimise day-to-day operations across our fast-paced transport and 3PL network.

The Role

As our State Operations Manager - SA , you will take full ownership of operational performance, ensuring efficient transport and logistics processes while leading a high-performing team. You'll be responsible for driving continuous improvement, maintaining compliance, and exceeding service expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor safety, compliance and chain of responsibility (CoR) requirements

Manage daily operations across transport and 3PL functions

Accountable for the financial performance of the branch, including full responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) management. This includes setting financial targets, monitoring performance against budget, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing strategies to maximise profitability while maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency.

Lead and motivate depot / warehouse and driving teams to hit KPIs

Oversee fleet performance, route planning and delivery efficiency

Drive continuous improvement and cost-effective practices

Collaborate with customers to deliver top-tier service

Report on operational performance and implement strategic initiatives

What We’re Looking For :

Proven experience in a transport, logistics or 3PL operations leadership role

Strong knowledge of transport regulations, CoR, WHS, and compliance

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to problem-solve and make quick, strategic decisions

Tech-savvy with transport management systems (TMS / WMS)
