We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Consultant to join the dynamic testing team. Working closely with the branch’s Test Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and uplifting our test automation strategy across both modern and legacy systems.

You will lead automation initiatives, contribute to continuous integration and DevOps practices, and drive a high standard of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

Evaluate and recommend test automation technology, tools, and strategy, including framework selection and coding languages.
Design and implement scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for both backend and UI components, with an emphasis on Accessibility.
Establish and enforce best practices and standards for writing test automation code across teams.
Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to support in-sprint delivery of automated tests aligned to acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.
Develop automated test cases and supporting test code.
Drive continuous improvement in automation testing practices and processes.
Identify and manage risks and issues related to the delivery of automated testing.
Support the Test Manager in growing the automation testing team and expanding test coverage

Essential criteria

Expert “hands-on” technical proficiency in the principles and practical application of automation testing, test frameworks, CI / CD, across a variety of tools.

Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of role autonomy and “can do” attitude.

Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Computing Science or Mathematics or another relevant technical field.

2-5 years’ experience in a senior automation test role.

Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail.

Passion for driving quality through testing and automation.

Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic
