As a Community Coach, you'll be at the heart of enhancing mental health and wellbeing for community members in the beautiful Discovery Coast area. Your unique insights and experiences will be key in implementing effective peer-to-peer strategies, driving positive outcomes for all participants.

This role is full -time, fixed-term until 30 June 2026.

What you'll be doing Empower and Support : Work closely with priority groups, including older adults, individuals facing socioeconomic challenges, and residents of rural and remote areas.Connect and Educate : Link individuals with local resources and provide valuable education on wellbeing and self-care strategies.Make a Real Impact : Collaborate with GP services to reach those who need it most, fostering a healthier, happier community.Coordinate and Contribute : Develop and attend community events, maintain partnerships, provide culturally appropriate referrals, and support program evaluation through data collection and reporting.What we're looking for Minimum Cert IV in Peer / Mental Health or relevant fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to create a supportive and non-judgemental environment.Experience in facilitating group sessions and community events.Knowledge of local resources and service systems.Ability to collect and analyse data for program evaluation.Why Join IMPACT?
