- We are now seeking a full-time Employment Coach based in Springvale, Victoria, to join the SYC Team!
- About the Role...
An Employment Coach will actively engage with participants to identify the skills and potential barriers to employment of each individual, and work with them to achieve their tailored employment goals. This role will benefit from supporting and assisting job seekers while working within a supportive and results driven team.
As an
- Employment Coach
- you will :
- Market participants to employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
- Provide individual case management support and facilitate development tailored to overcome their barriers to employment
- Ensure timely referral to employment opportunities, vocational training, employment activities and non-vocational programs
- Negotiate employment opportunities by utilising wage subsidies and all other available initiatives to support and sustain long term employment
- Provide thorough Post Placement Support to employers and participants

- Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
