The role
As Packaging and Deployment Officer, you will undertake a fundamental role in assisting with the packaging, testing and deployment of the LGIRS Desktop applications and software.
Your effectiveness in this role will be contingent upon your extensive experience in packaging, supporting and deploying software and applications, processes and procedures as well as experience in delivering packaging and version management services for end-user computing devices, software applications and supporting technologies.
You will bring to the role the knowledge of contemporary ICT trends, developments and standards and possess an appropriate ICT related qualification or equivalent industry recognised professional qualification, or substantial relevant industry experience.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
