ROLE PURPOSE

The Performance Manager directs digital media strategy and implementation across one of Australia’s largest prestige automotive dealer groups. This role is accountable for delivering high-impact, high-performance campaigns across search, social, and programmatic platforms - using data and insights to drive measurable results across 75 dealerships and over a dozen world-class luxury brands.

This role is a hybrid of media planning / account management as well as campaign implementation / activations across a variety of digital channels.

You’ll be the central point connecting strategy, activation, and outcomes - overseeing multiple stakeholders, mentoring junior team members, and coordinating offshore resources to ensure campaigns are delivered to the highest standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Liaise daily with offshore teams to ensure campaigns are launched and optimised on time

Assist and guide the local Zenith team to maintain campaign excellence

Partner with client-side stakeholders across retail and digital teams to align on goals, requests, and strategic direction

Brief, QA, and monitor campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other platforms

Pull data, analyse performance trends, and build meaningful reports that tie back to business results

Upskill client teams in digital best practices and performance insights

Identify workflow, technology, and reporting efficiencies to improve overall output

Balance short-term performance with longer-term planning and innovation

KEY OUTPUTS

High-performance campaigns delivered on time and to brief

Consistent and insightful performance reporting

Strong stakeholder relationships across local and offshore teams

Upskill the retail and digital client teams

Ongoing improvement of campaign processes and performance frameworks

ABOUT YOU

Minimum 4 years experience in media buying / activations across paid search and paid social channels - ideally in the marketing & advertising industry

Media planning experience across paid search, paid social and / or offline channels is advantageous

Experience overseeing multiple high-touch client accounts with multi-locations - ideally within a marketing agency

Comfortable guiding local and offshore teams

Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Campaign QA and troubleshooting aptitude

Strong time management and project coordination experience

Aptitude to work both independently and collaboratively

Exposure to Salesforce or Marketing Cloud is a bonus

Strong technical experience across :

Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Business Manager (Facebook & Instagram Ads)

Google Analytics (GA4)

Knowledge of UTM tracking and basic tagging
