Short Term Contract - Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health - Hobart Tas

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Mental Health Short Stay Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital.Key Responsibilities : - Deliver expert clinical care to patients presenting with acute mental health needs, including comorbid substance use- Act as a specialist resource for multidisciplinary teams across MHSSU, Emergency Department, and Community Mental Health Services- Support service reform aligned with Tasmania's Mental Health Reform Program and strategic initiativesDates : 10th June to 9th SeptemberRequirements : - Current AHPRA registration- Minimum 5 years' post-registration experience in acute mental health nursing- Advanced clinical skills and knowledge in mental health care- Strong communication, negotiation, and liaison abilities- Familiarity with the Mental Health Act and relevant legislation- Proven ability in clinical risk management, service development, and quality improvement- Commitment to ongoing professional development- Relevant certificates and competencies- Updated serology and immunisation evidence- National Police CheckTo Apply : By clicking on 'Apply Now' you will register your interest to work.
