• Role Description

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to achieve their goals and enhance their independence. You will provide person-centered care and support tailored to each client's unique needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.

Implement personalised support plans and monitor progress toward individual goals.

Support clients in community participation and engagement, promoting social inclusion.

Provide emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy to clients and their families.

Document accurate records of client interactions, progress, and incidents.

Requirements

Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Demonstrated experience in working with individuals with disabilities, including a variety of age groups and needs.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and a diverse team.

Drivers License and reliable transportation

Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.

Flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
