  • Role Description

As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to achieve their goals and enhance their independence. You will provide person-centered care and support tailored to each client's unique needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and domestic tasks.
  • Implement personalised support plans and monitor progress toward individual goals.
  • Support clients in community participation and engagement, promoting social inclusion.
  • Provide emotional support, encouragement, and advocacy to clients and their families.
  • Document accurate records of client interactions, progress, and incidents.
  • Requirements
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in working with individuals with disabilities, including a variety of age groups and needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and a diverse team.
  • Drivers License and reliable transportation
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.
  • Flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
