Our client is a leading National vehicle distribution business who provide a range of services to the vehicle manufacturers. With a long history in the automotive industry they are clear leaders in their field.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are currently seeking a workshop supervisor to join their business. Leading a team of approximately 10 you will be responsible for leading your team to success and overseeing the day to day operations of the workshop.

This role is

  • not a tools based role_
  • it is very much a supervisory role.
  • Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure vehicle repairs are compliant with the OEM's specification
  • Planning daily labour needs to ensure deadlines are met
  • Assess vehicles and quote work required
  • Work with customers and customer service team to ensure vehicles are repaired in a timely manner
  • Lead, coach and mentor your team
  • Your Experience
  • Proven workshop leadership experience in the panel repair or spray painting sector
  • Experience in assessing vehicle repairs and estimating costs of repairs
  • Trade qualifications as a panel beater or spray painter
  • Sound people leadership experience
  • Adaptable with strong organisational and communication skills
