About The Role

This key leadership role is responsible for all logistics operations at L'Occitane ANZ, including warehousing, e-commerce order fulfillment, in-house assembly and kitting, as well as domestic and international freight. Based at our Distribution Centre in Silverwater, this position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and effectiveness of our supply chain operations.

Success in this role requires exceptional organisational and communication skills, a hands-on leadership style, and a commitment to mentoring and developing team members in alignment with L'Occitane's Prosperity values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities Include

Oversee all day-to-day logistics operations, including warehousing, e-commerce order fulfilment, in-house assembly, and kitting.Lead, mentor, and develop the Distribution Centre team, including casual and seasonal employees.Foster a positive, high-performing culture aligned with L'Occitane's values and expectations.Manage warehouse operating budgets, including labor, freight, packing supplies, and fixed costs.Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory, maintaining strict adherence to a First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) model.Manage all freight operations, including inbound and outbound containers and domestic distribution in Australia and New Zealand.Oversee relationships with key suppliers (e.g. materials handling equipment, racking, packing supplies).Act as the primary contact for warehouse security, ensuring systems are functional and inventory is secure in collaboration with IT and security vendors.

Strong written and verbal communicationAbility to work under pressureMinimum of 5 years' management level position in warehouse, operations, supply chain, inventory management, logistics or similar disciplineMinimum of 5 years' team management experienceAdvanced knowledge of logistics and warehouse operationsAdvanced knowledge of warehouse management applications e.g. Navision, SAP
