Description and RequirementsWe are seeking a senior sales professional to work within Motorola, primarily responsible for achieving business targets through effective relationship management and customer engagement with Telstra stakeholders and business units.
The role involves device ranging, sales, developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, and exploring opportunities to deliver incremental business outcomes for Motorola.
The successful candidate will :
Manage and engage with the Telstra account and stakeholders, including product and device teams, retail teams, enterprise / B2B teams, and other aligned retail accounts.Promote Motorola products and services with Telstra, ensuring Motorola remains the preferred brand for ranging and promotional decisions. This includes managing ranging, sell-through, sell-out, in-store execution, and forecasting.Understand key account levers and position Motorola for success.Drive and prepare all RFI submission documentation, collaborating with support teams and following established processes.Ensure timely submission of RFI documents and follow up with customers and support teams.Develop marketing plans with internal and external teams and stakeholders.Create account plans with short, mid, and long-term goals.Coordinate with the Finance team on MDF / co-op investments and compile supporting documents for payments.Key Performance Indicators : Increased market Share of Voice (SoV)Sales metrics including revenue, sell-out, activations, and inventory weeksPosition Requirements : Strong understanding of the Australian mobile network operator industry.Mandatory sales and account management experience, especially with Telstra and / or mobile brands.Ability to develop and adapt advanced sales strategies to customer needs and create partnerships.Business acumen for negotiations and business solutions that result in profitable growth.Knowledge of the mobile market and customer base.Preferred : MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Marketing.Minimum 5 years of sales and account management experience in the ANZ telco industry, selling to retail, carrier, or distributor channels.Additional Locations : Australia - New South Wales - North Sydney, and other locations in Australia.
