As our Environment, Health and Safety Manager, you will join our growing national health and safety consulting team based in Melbourne on either a full or part-time basis.
This is a hybrid position based in Naarm - Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilitiesYou will be an integral part of a leading national team of multi-disciplinary health, safety and wellbeing professionals, assisting organisations across a range of industries to transform their approach to health, safety and wellbeing. You will be responsible for :
Managing a variety of engagements involving physical and psychosocial risk management, strategy, audit and analytical frameworks, culture change and leadership to help clients succeed and navigate complex operational and regulatory environments.Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, both internally and externally.Identifying and communicating trends, developments, and key performance drivers relevant to the client, while demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and marketplace.What we look forTo be considered for this role you must have :
Minimum of five years of technical EHS experience in process safety, safety in design, dangerous goods, risk management, or health and safety management systems, with a strong grounding in risk management fundamentals, WHS legislation, and management systems, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven project management experience in dynamic environments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, alongside strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.Experience in coaching talent and developing internal and external relationships, including client management, with the ability to travel intra and interstate as required.Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes. We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.
