Contracts Specialist

Happy Haven (HH) is a South Australian owned and operated Approved Provider of Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) services with strong child centric and inclusive philosophies. With the head office located in Modbury North, HH currently operates 50 sites in metro and regional South Australia.

• About the role

As the Contracts Specialist, you will report to the Governance Manager and oversee the contract life cycle including the preparation, review, negotiation and coordination of bids, contracts, and agreements. Key priorities are to ensure company contracts protect the business and to identify commercial risks, develop, and implement effective mitigation strategies, and report internally.

• Duties
• Draft Review and implement contracts
• Manage contracts and related relationships
• Identify risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies
• Liaise with external legal counsel to ensure contracts are fit for purpose
• Internal compliance auditing and internal reporting
• Skills and experience
• Hold or gain DHS WWCC, RRHAN-EC and NPC
• Previous recent success in a similar role
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Law or related field are desirable
