Field Technician

As a Field Technician, you'll be part of a collaborative high performing team, ensuring that the Parkable parker community have a great experience with parks that are well maintained, have clear signage, and effective access control. You'll project manage, maintain and enforce our parks across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. While you will work closely with the team in our offices in Central Brisbane, you'll enjoy being on the road, working with contractors and staying connected with your teammates across Australia and New Zealand as this rapid growth SaaS company expands globally.

• About you

We're wanting to hear from self-starters, with a can do attitude and handy skills, who like to be on the road while also managing to stay connected to the wider team and our outsourced contractors. Tech savvy as well as handy with tools, you will enjoy variety in your day and have the ability to prioritise, take initiative and plan what needs to be done.

Working closely with the Brisbane team, with colleagues across Australia and New Zealand and reporting to a Head of Customer Success in New Zealand, you will be part of an ambitious and supportive team with accountability and ownership of our on the ground physical set up in Brisbane.

• What success in this role looks like
• You will have a clear understanding of what makes a great parker experience, and can use this to advise and design a great physical park set up.
• You take initiative and are a self-starter, and can plan and prioritise tasks to maximise your impact and meet deadlines.
• You enjoy multi-tasking and variety, and will do what's needed to get the job done. No task is too big or small and you have a can do attitude.
• You can project manage and deliver a park set up, using your planning, physical, handy and technical skills.
• You can work well with outsourced contractors, developing effective networks and partners for maintenance, electrical and signage.
• You can clearly articulate and communicate plans and requirements to the team, and can work remotely while ensuring you remain connected to your colleagues in Brisbane and across Australia and New Zealand.
• You form great relationships with your close colleagues and those across the business, and can work in geographically diverse teams to develop common processes and improvement initiatives.
• You ensure that everyone is on the same page with timelines, WIP and our current status of our parks.
• Experience meeting timeframes under pressure.
• What we're looking for
• Experience project managing and performing physical based jobs from end to end;
• Documentation skills and ability to use systems to track, manage and streamline tasks and processes;
• Experience working with contractors and team mates to deliver a project;
• Experience self-managing your day and your time, being on the road delivering to timeframes and quality outcomes;
• A commitment to health and safety and adherence to processes to support best practice and a consistent approach;
• Detail focused and thorough, with an eye for detail to ensure parks remain at a high quality standard.
