About the Role
We are currently recruiting for Residential Youth Support Workers to join our Short-Term Emergency Residential Care and MyLaunchPad Team . Our Short-Term Emergency Residential Care program and MyLaunchPad program are both based in Northwest Tasmania (between Latrobe and Burnie) , both programs are designed for young people who are unable to be placed through standard placement avenues, such as foster care, specialist care or other residential contracted service. These are hands-on Permanent Part-Time or Casual positions, with most time spent in the house or participating in recreational activities. You will be working directly with children and young people, the positions are based in a 24 / 7 Residential Setting with fortnightly rotating shift rosters. The program prioritises the safety and well-being of children and young people, offering a predictable, home-like environment that is culturally safe and responsive.
Suitable applicants will be asked to attend an Information Session and Interview, held in-person, on Wednesday 16th July 2025 at Ulverstone Surf Club. We do recommend an application before this date.
