We are currently seeking
Hydrogeologistsfor an industry leading Iron Ore producer, on an 8 : 6 roster FIFO from Perth.In this role, you will be involved in assessing, optimizing and managing the water supply, dewatering and excess water disposal of our mine operations situated in a dynamic and sensitive groundwater environment.
About the roleTechnical rig supervision including production, monitoringand injection bore design.Hydrogeological logging of drill samplesSupervision of pump test and earthwork crews on site.Undertake filed work (e.g. groundwater sampling, well installations, site reconnaissance, water levelmeasurements, bore census)Data interpretation and management including test pump analysisInternal and regulatory reportingLiaison between mine planning, dewatering teams and other departments on siteAbout YouA degree or an equivalent tertiary qualification in Hydrogeology or related science.Relevant applied experience in HydrogeologyExposure or knowledge of relevant hydrogeological software packages such as ArcGIS, Aqtesolv, log plot etc.Familiarity working with drilling, pump testing and other contractors on site.Strong data management and manipulation skillsStrong communication skills and a track record of achieving resultsHigh commitment to safetyProactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellenceResults driven, responsible and accountableAbility to manage under pressure and adapt quicky to changeGreat problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work autonomouslyWho are weAt PERSOLKELLY, our passion is - and always has been - putting you first.
