- Principal level Strategic Asset Management & Risk Advisor,
- with a skill set focused on strategic asset management to join our Digital Advisory team. Wood is providing professional domain advisory services to support all areas of asset management, reliability, maintenance, and sparing, which additionally supports our Operations and Maintenance Team. This team supports Wood delivery and client engagements to realize the best value for the engagement and developing opportunities. This role is a full-time permanent staff position reporting to the Global Practice Lead for Risk Advisory & Strategic Asset Management and Local Regional Manager.

In this role you will be working in a variety of engagements, business development, client management, project work packages and campaigns that will draw on your interpersonal and collaboration skills to deliver the described scope.
Identify and convert potential value opportunities for clients either through Wood project and service opportunities, to widen the portfolio of long-term business relationships
Contribute and lead marketing and business development, undertaking APAC and global market analyses to identify opportunities and contribute to marketing and BD support material, proposals and client meetingsHigh degree of client engagement and management, with responsibility for specific client's and ongoing relationships with technology partnersOversee and contribute to the preparation of proposalsProvide technical and commercial direction to consultants, provide overview of project schedules and budgets and perform detailed review of critical aspects of projectsProvide technical leadership in either or all strategic asset management, risk, maintenance & reliability engineering, sparing and operations readiness project scopes or initiativesContribute as Peer Reviewer / SME on global projects, to actively contribute to the delivery and due diligence for projectsAssist with professional development of engineers and consultants by sharing specific skills and knowledge through structured and unstructured programsAssist in the training, development and competency of Wood clients and staff to develop their skills and maintain industry-leading knowledge in their areas of technical responsibilityIt takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact Wood has on the global energy sector. As a member of the team, you will need to have and demonstrate :
Engineering degree from a recognised university or college in a relevant discipline20 years engineering and consulting experience in asset intensive industriesProven track record of technical delivery, client management and business developmentStrongly desirable extensive knowledge in Strategic Asset Management, ISO 55000 and other relevant standards and as a minimum be certified as Senior Practitioner in Asset Management or equivalentProven extensive experience in operations and maintenance processes, activities and practices on operating assets in any Mining, Energy, Heavy Industry and related sectorsPractical experience in Modelling, RCM, FRACAS, LCC, FMECA, LoRA and other asset related techniquesWell-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and typical reliability engineering and assets performance criteriaStrong knowledge of the regional and global market and relevant industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, InfrastructureAbility to develop and maintain client relationships based on technical credibility and project delivery recordDemonstrated experience in undertaking business development activities to acquire new workAbility to structure and organise workflow, including appropriate delegation to internal stakeholdersDemonstrated experience in team leadership, analytical, solutions drivenConsulting business unit overviewOur global specialist consultancy business encompasses 3,700+ professionals with industry-leading expertise in areas including decarbonisation, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, renewables advisory, asset optimisation, and digital solutions.
