The Opportunity Join our Maintenance team at our Archerfield site as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner. Lysaght, made in Australia since 1921, manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation, from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.

In this specialised role, you'll work collaboratively to support our Manufacturing Operations on the performance and safety compliance of our key assets and plant equipment. This includes inspections, monitoring, detailed planning of work, and participating in work scheduling and execution. You will understand the condition monitoring of this equipment to ensure operational standards and requirements are met, maintaining safety and reliability now and into the future.

Working predominantly Monday to Friday, this role requires flexibility to support operations. What Will You Do? As the Mechanical Maintenance Planner, you'll provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement of our equipment's performance and reliability, including :

Supervising daily plant maintenance activities, including planning, organizing, executing, and reviewing maintenanceCoordinating and supporting maintenance resources within the sectionScheduling maintenance work and detailed planningCapturing maintenance history and refining strategiesSupervising internal and external stakeholdersYou will support the plant maintenance teams and asset management teams by establishing and continually improving our maintenance plan. Your responsibilities include :

Leading and contributing to a safe working environmentApplying asset management strategies for nominated equipmentDeveloping optimized maintenance plans and schedules based on equipment criticality using our CMMSPlanning and scheduling preventative and corrective work ordersProviding asset utilization and maintenance management expertiseReviewing data to refine maintenance strategies for improved reliabilityMore About You You bring technical skills and experience in maintaining equipment in continuous production facilities. Additionally, you will have :

A Mechanical Trade or tertiary qualificationsExperience in Mechanical Maintenance within a similar industry, focusing on defect elimination and equipment reliabilityA commitment to safety and wellbeingExperience in planning and scheduling inspections and maintenanceExperience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures
