JFD is seeking a Production Manager – Support Systems to oversee the planning, management, and safe delivery of maintenance and repair activities for diving support systems based in Caringbah, NSW.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a dedicated team and collaborate closely with Defence clients and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

This position has one direct report and requires occasional interstate travel.

Primary duties include : Promote and lead a strong safety culture, ensuring all employees are aware of safety requirements, standards and practices.

Proactively plan and coordinate maintenance and repairs for diving support systems and non-OEM products, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and monitoring support team performance against agreed deliverables.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their operational needs and ensuring our services align with their objectives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience in production management, preferably in service delivery and / or relationship management environment.

Experience with Defence contracts (highly desirable)

Excellent strategic planning and leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to lead teams.

Demonstrable skills and understanding of Program Management.

Operationally sound however with a keen understanding of strategic planning.
