Contract Details 12 + 12 + 12 month contract in Canberra ACT Role Overview Our client, a large Federal Government Organisation responsible for consolidating efforts to drive economic growth, productivity, and competitiveness by bringing together industry, energy, resources, and science, is seeking an experienced Front End Developer / UI Designer for a long-term contract based in Canberra.

Responsibilities Design user-focused UI, including user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces. Conduct user experience evaluations to ensure usability and accessibility standards are met. Collaborate with developers and back-end engineers to advocate for user-centric design solutions and usability improvements. Experience and Skills Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and articulate design decisions clearly. Experience translating usability testing findings into actionable UI improvements. Knowledge of Accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 Level AA minimum.
